Éxodo Hospitality Group announced the opening of Cha Chin, a new modern Chinese-Peruvian restaurant in River North at 407 N. Clark Street.

Designed by local interior design studio Crespo and Br, the restaurant will feature a 70-seat dining room and a seven-seat bar. “With Cha Chin, we want to tell a story around unexpected Chinese cuisine through our own perspective and create something that will bring a fresh conversation to Chicago’s dining scene,” said Éxodo’s Culinary Director José Luis Chávez.

The 2,650-square-foot space was designed by longtime Éxodo Hospitality Group interior design partners, Crespo and Br. The Chicago-based studio is led by Daniela Crespo and Vanessa Briceño, the designers of Matilda. “Cha Chin will further diversify the culinary offerings in River North while reinforcing its reputation as a go-to destination for award-winning chefs and hospitality groups like Éxodo,” said Albert Friedman, CEO and chairman of Friedman Properties.
