Rudin said Wednesday that AT&T has signed a five-year extension of its retail lease at 3 Times Square. The telecom giant occupies a 6,623-square-foot Times Square location that includes a ground-floor storefront on Seventh Avenue between 42nd and 43rd Streets and lower-level space. The renewal follows Rudin’s lease with global jewelry brand Pandora, which will open at street level later this year.

“Times Square remains one of the world’s most dynamic and heavily trafficked retail corridors in the world, and AT&T’s renewed commitment at 3 Times Square reinforces its spot at the center of it all,” said Kevin Daly, VP of commercial leasing at Rudin.

Rudin was represented in-house by Daly and Craig Panzirer, SVP, head of office leasing. AT&T was represented by Loren Baron of CBRE. Rudin and joint venture partner Thomson Reuters recently completed an extensive capital improvement program at 3 Times Square, which originally opened in 2001.
