According to reports from the United News Network and other Taiwanese media on October 22, Taiwan's defense department confirmed that it has prepared a budget to invite a US observation team to Taiwan to observe the Taiwanese military's “Han Guang” exercises today and next two years, totaling more than 82.43 million NTD. After this budget came to light, it raised concerns from the outside world. Some netizens on the island criticized the DPP authorities for “spending money to have people watch movies” and “lick beauty to the point where there is no upper limit.”
