12:21 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nel ASA (NEL.OL) appointed Morten Holum as chief executive officer, succeeding Håkon Volldal, effective no later than May 1, 2027. The Norwegian hydrogen technology company's Chief Financial Officer Kjell Christian Bjørnsen will serve as interim CEO from Nov. 1, 2026, until Holum joins, according to a Wednesday release. Vice president of finance Torbjørn Berg will become interim CFO during the transition period. Holum has served as president and CEO of high-pressure composite cylinders and fuel systems maker Hexagon Purus (HPUR.OL) since March 2020.
