If you had been weighing SharkNinja on 1 January 2026, the later headlines about Q1 strength, index inclusion and a high profile AI push were still months away. Investors who held SharkNinja from the start of the year are up 73.5%, including dividends. If you were deciding back then whether to buy, hold or pass, how much weight would you have given to expanding product lines, international ambitions and equity issuance risk, compared with margin pressure already on record?
SharkNinja has already moved. See which of 33 high quality undervalued stocks still trade below our estimates.
The shares cost US$112 at the start, and SharkNinja sat between two believable stories about where the value could go next.
On the bullish side, one narrative pointed to a Fair Value of US$138, a rough guide to what that camp thought the stock was worth if things broke its way, built on assumptions of 10.8% annual revenue growth and profit margins reaching 12.3%.
The more cautious view saw Fair Value at US$105, anchored to expectations that international expansion and new products carried real execution risk, even if revenue still grew 10.0% and margins rose to 12.2%.
SharkNinja’s later reports showed strong Q1 2026 sales momentum and raised full year guidance, which supported the optimistic growth story around new products and overseas demand. The harder edge came from the measured results. Revenue rose from US$1,444.876m in Q2 2025 to US$1,765.476m in Q2 2026, while net income slipped and net margin fell from 9.7% to 7.4%. The evidence cut both ways.
The key lesson is simple. When a growth pitch leans on margin expansion, you need to track net income and net margin at every results release, not just the top line or product announcements.
Today SharkNinja trades at US$198, and the selected Narrative’s Fair Value sits below that level, even while treating it as a strong business with loyal customers and a deep product bench.
A buyer at this price effectively banks on sustained product hits and healthy margins. How does the Narrative’s focus on spending pressure and tariff drag affect that assumption?
"SharkNinja makes products people genuinely seem to love. My brother-in-law hasn't stopped talking about his Ninja coffee machine. Every gym-goer seems to own a Ninja ice cream maker churning out protein ice cream."
