01:59 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Molecular Partners (MOLN.SW) selected MP0730 as its lead targeted alpha radiotherapeutic candidate against the tumor-associated antigen CD70, with a first-in-human study expected to begin in mid-2027. The clinical-stage biotech company said Thursday that preclinical data showed strong, sustained tumor uptake relative to healthy tissue, including the kidney, liver, and blood, in tumor-bearing mice. CD70 is overexpressed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma and other cancers. MP0730 is the third program in the company's targeted alpha radiotherapeutics pipeline.
