05:59 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- OS Kovo unions at Volkswagen's (VOW.F, VOW3.F) Skoda Auto in the Czech Republic are opposing the proposed salary freeze through 2030 by the German automaker. Reuters reported Thursday, citing a report by local newspaper Skodovacky odborar, that union Chief Jaroslav Povsik told members that a salary-freeze or zero-bonus policy will not be accepted. In an emailed response to MT Newswires, a Skoda Auto spokesperson declined to comment, noting that "the current collective agreement for 2026 remains valid until 31 March 2027."
