The Novi, Michigan-based company said it had a loss of 8 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, came to 33 cents per share.

The results fell short of Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of five analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 66 cents per share.

The maker of climate-controlled seats and other products posted revenue of $405.1 million in the period, which beat Street forecasts. Six analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $404.4 million.

Gentherm expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.83 billion to $1.93 billion.
