The Financial and Economic Working Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Committee held a meeting this morning to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speech during his visit to Shanghai and important instructions and requirements for work in Shanghai, study the construction of an integrated overseas service system, and promote the high-quality development of inbound tourism. The conference pointed out that it is necessary to focus on service to construct a new development pattern, adhere to the “four positions”, coordinate development and safety, further improve the comprehensive overseas service system, and launch the “Go Overseas and Choose Shanghai” brand. Greater efforts should be made to improve quality and expand coverage. Government services such as filing, consulting, and information should be further integrated and improved, speed up the establishment of an interconnected data base, achieve “one-time filing” and “one network access”, strengthen the iterative upgrading of intelligent functions, and continuously improve the timeliness, accuracy, and effectiveness of services. Professional services such as compliance and cross-border finance should focus on strong capabilities, encourage professional institutions to expand overseas service networks, strengthen the promotion of foreign-related talents, and provide strong support for enterprises to go overseas.
