07:48 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BioNTech (22UA.F) and US biopharmaceutical company Gilead Sciences (GIS.F) entered a clinical trial partnership and supply agreement to evaluate a drug combination for advanced triple-negative breast cancer. The phase 3 Rosetta Breast-01 study will test the German biopharmaceutical company's pumitamig investigative drug alongside Gilead's targeted cancer therapy Trodelvy, according to a Thursday release. The trial will focus on patients with locally advanced or metastatic PD-L1 low or negative triple-negative breast cancer. BioNTech and its development partner Bristol Myers Squibb plan to replace chemotherapy with Trodelvy in the trial, pending regulatory approval. Gilead will supply the drug for the study.
