08:04 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BofA Global Research maintained its buy rating on Roche (RO.SW), with a price objective of 415 francs, following the Swiss drugmaker's better-than-expected sales in the third quarter. The group delivered an 8% annual growth in sales to 16.1 billion francs for the quarter, 2% ahead of consensus, mainly driven by higher-than-anticipated sales in its pharmaceuticals division, according to a Thursday note. "Macro and chase for non-binary growth has been driver of recent share price strength. However, bottom up, we reiterate our Buy driven by our bullish view on giredestrant launch aided by divarasib & fenebrutinib, and busier FY27-28 pipeline (TL1A, Columvi 1L DLBCL, NXT007, FGF21 & tronti also on the horizon. We see a solid 'bolus' for lidERA launch end-26E in c10-20% patients discontinuing CDK4/6i, supporting above-cons 27E sales of CHF900m," the research firm said. "On fene, we (and we believe investors as well) now assume low PoS on safety concerns, thus any approval is upside given a large cCHF3bn peak opportunity. A potential divarasib 27E launch in 2L lung cancer is also an overlooked cCHF2-3bn opportunity, 1L data 28E may expand to CHF3bn+. Thus, we're confident in ability of launches to offset base business debates."
