08:07 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Abu Dhabi Biobank partnered with British pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca (AZN.L) to improve predictive healthcare, according to a Thursday release. The partners will use biological samples, genomic and clinical data, and AI to help detect diseases earlier and expand research into rare conditions in historically underrepresented populations. They will also test AstraZeneca's Milton AI platform for predicting Type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. The Abu Dhabi Biobank is a joint health research initiative between the Department of Health-Abu Dhabi and UAE health technology company M42.
