Yemeni Houthi spokesman Yahya Sareya issued a video statement today saying that since the recent escalation of the situation in Yemen, Saudi Arabia has launched more than 2,900 air and missile attacks on Yemen, resulting in 562 deaths and injuries, including women and children. Sareya said that the Houthis have carried out 4 military operations against Saudi Arabia in the past 48 hours, using several ballistic missiles and drones: the first operation hit the Ministry of Defense building in the Saudi capital Riyadh, with a “precise hit”; the second operation hit King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, “causing flight operations to be interrupted”; the third operation hit Saudi Aramco facilities in Yanbu, Saudi Arabia, and “caused a fire at the target location”; the fourth operation hit Saudi Abha International Airport with a “precise hit.” Sareya said, “Saudi Arabia's threat to attack Yemeni tribes will never go away. If it persists in implementing this threat, the consequences will have a disastrous and unpredictable impact on Saudi Arabia. We will be forced to adopt major options that we are unwilling to use, and Saudi Arabia will bear all the consequences.”
