11:12 AM EDT, 10/22/2026 (MT Newswires) -- A Norwegian district court rejected an injunction claim filed by the non-governmental organization Neptune Network STI against Nordic Mining's (NOM.OL) Engebø Rutile and Garnet subsidiary. The court concluded that the conditions for the injunction, which aimed to prohibit the mining company's deposit of tailings in the Førdefjord in Norway, were not met, according to a Thursday release. Nordic Mining added that operations at the site will continue as planned.
