The Fresno, California-based company said it had profit of 30 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to 66 cents per share.

The results topped Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 65 cents per share.

The holding company for Central Valley Community Bank posted revenue of $72.9 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $58 million, also beating Street forecasts. Four analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $56.4 million.
