The bank, based in Bar Harbor, Maine, said it had earnings of 96 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs, came to $1.04 per share.

The bank posted revenue of $69.2 million in the period. Its revenue net of interest expense was $51.6 million.

Bar Harbor shares have climbed 27% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $39.48, a rise of 30% in the last 12 months.
