K2 Insurance Services announced today that its subsidiary, Aegis General Insurance Agency, will wind down its Executive Risks Division. The division will stop writing new and renewal business effective November 1, 2026. The decision follows a strategic review of the division’s fit within K2’s broader portfolio.

“This decision reflects our strategic priorities,” said Bob Kimmel, CEO of K2 Insurance Services. “We thank the entire team for their hard work and commitment to our producers and insureds.”

Policies in force will remain in effect through their terms, and claims will continue to be handled without interruption. Aegis General is working with its carrier partners and producers to ensure an orderly transition. Producers and policyholders with questions can contact submissions@aegisexec.com.
