Addnode Group came into this Q3 2026 report on a tear, with the share price up roughly 77% over three months and closing today at SEK64.2. Expectations were hot. The print was hotter. Net sales for the quarter landed at about SEK1.4b and EBITA reached SEK250m, lifting the EBITA margin into the high teens and putting profit quality at the center of the story.
Investors now have to weigh a sharp recent rally against a set of earnings that leans heavily on margin strength and cost efficiencies rather than on headline revenue expansion.

Ask Charlie what drove Addnode Group’s EBITA margin jump this quarter.
The bullish pitch claims Addnode Group can use AI rich workflows and public sector focus to deepen ties and lift recurring software mix.
"Process Management now combines Genus, Decisive and Tribia with a clear focus on public sector and case management. This can support deeper customer penetration, higher utilization of proprietary software and sustained EBITDA margin improvement."
Q3 gives that view some hard backing. Process Management delivered 24% EBITA margin and has now improved margins for nine straight quarters. The City of Stockholm deal adds around SEK 10m a year in largely recurring software revenue over ten years, which directly supports the recurring revenue and margin ambition set out in the bullish thesis.

The cautious view questions whether Addnode Group’s acquisition binge actually converts into enduring profit and cash power.
"Although the group has completed 11 acquisitions across 2025 and early 2026 and reports that integrations are progressing according to plan, the temporary increase in net debt to SEK 2.2b and the diluted return on capital employed around 14.6% highlight execution risk if acquired units do not translate into sustained earnings growth and stronger cash conversion."
Q3 shows healthier EBITA and better operating cash flow, helped by Design Management and cost programs. That progress reduces immediate balance sheet anxiety. It does not yet prove that the 11 acquired units can support higher returns over several years without further restructuring help.
Addnode Group shows how a sharp move and strong profitability can still leave investors debating what really matters. The real opportunity sits in tracking companies that could be undervalued before the crowd fully catches on.
