12:24 AM EDT, 10/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Orion's (ORNAV.HE, ORNBV.HE) prostate cancer treatment darolutamide reduced the risk of spread of cancer cells or death by 58% in patients with high-risk prostate cancer when added to standard-of-care androgen deprivation therapy and locoregional radiation therapy, the company said. The DASL-HiCaP phase 3 trial showed a four-year metastasis-free survival rate of 95% with darolutamide against 88% with placebo, according to the Finnish pharmaceutical group's Oct. 24 release. Orion said the treatment's safety profile was consistent with previous studies, although higher adverse events occurred in 43% of patients receiving darolutamide, compared with 36% in the placebo group.
