02:32 AM EDT, 10/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Biosynex's (ALBIO.PA) US subsidiary, Chembio Diagnostic Systems, won a $5.7 million award to advance the development of its rapid, point-of-care, multiplex in vitro diagnostic, DPP Biothreat Panel. The test is designed to detect three high-consequence biothreat pathogens, including Yersinia pestis, which causes plague; Francisella tularensis, which causes tularemia; and Burkholderia pseudomallei, which causes melioidosis, according to an Oct. 23 release.
