BALTIMORE (AP) — BALTIMORE (AP) — Medifast Inc. (MED) on Monday reported a loss of $17.5 million in its third quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Baltimore-based company said it had a loss of $1.57. Losses, adjusted for restructuring costs, were 19 cents per share.

The weight-loss company posted revenue of $72 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in December, Medifast said it expects revenue in the range of $55 million to $75 million.

The company expects full-year results to range from a loss of 70 cents per share to a loss of 45 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $280 million to $300 million.
