08:20 AM EDT, 10/26/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Borr Drilling (BORR.OL) is continuing extensive marine and air search and rescue operations for the remaining five missing personnel in relation to the recent Prospector 5 drilling rig incident in offshore Gabon. The drilling contractor said Monday that the 110 staff accounted for are safe and being transported to shore for care and support services. It added that its onshore emergency response team is continuing to coordinate with local authorities and its client, BW Energy (BWE.OL). The Prospector 5 rig sank on Oct. 24 at 8:37 pm local time in Gabon while carrying out jacking operations for BW Energy's planned drilling campaign, with 115 personnel on board.
