01:19 AM EDT, 10/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Volkswagen (VOW.F, VOW3.F) is considering the installation of its China Electronic Architecture system on its European car models, Manager Magazin reported Monday, citing unnamed sources. The German carmaker jointly developed the system with electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng for use on models sold in China. Currently, it uses software made with US partner Rivian on vehicles marketed in Europe. The China Electronic Architecture could be installed on future models of the group's core VW, Skoda, and Cupra brands. Volkswagen did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires. (Market Chatter news is derived from conversations with market professionals globally.
