The Zhitong Finance App learned that UBS released a research report stating that it will maintain the Columbac-B (06990) “buy” rating and the target price of HK$678. The bank pointed out that the OptiTrop-Lung06 study data released by the company in ESMO 2026 has potential best-in-class efficacy and may change clinical practice; the final overall survival analysis of OptiTrop-Lung04 also showed sustained survival benefits, further strengthening the product positioning of SAC-TMT.
UBS notes that the OptiTrop-Lung06 study showed that SAC-TMT combined with pembrolizumab (Keytruda) for first-line PD-L1 negative non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer in China has the potential to have the best curative effect in its class. The bank believes that the relevant data has the potential to change clinical practice. The company has submitted an application for a new drug in China, which is expected to be accepted soon.
The bank believes that OptiTrop-Lung06 data has further strengthened its confidence in the expansion of key tests worldwide, and it is anticipated that the registered trial plan for SAC-TMT in conjunction with MK-2010 may be announced by partner MSD in the near future.
Furthermore, the final overall survival analysis of OptiTrop-Lung04 showed that after 32.3 months of median follow-up, sAC-TMT extended the median overall survival to 25.9 months, 17.4 months with platinum chemotherapy in the control group, a risk ratio of 0.69, and maintained the progression-free survival advantage previously announced. After adjustment by RPSFT, the risk ratio improved to 0.57.
UBS believes that continued survival benefits have significantly strengthened SAC-TMT's product positioning after EGFR-TKI treatment failure, and supports MSD's ongoing global Phase III MK-2870-004 program.
