The Zhitong Finance App has learned that Hong Kong Cyberport will host the “Cyberport Venture Capital Forum” from November 4 to 5. The theme of this year's forum was “Seek Promise in Change and Grow: Winning the New Circuit”. The aim was to bring together influential investors and entrepreneurs from around the world to discuss enterprise-level smart AI, one-person enterprises (OPCs), cutting-edge technology trends, and Hong Kong's role as an important hub connecting mainland China, ASEAN, the Middle East and the global innovation ecosystem.
Cyberport CEO Zheng Songyan said that the global innovation, technology and capital markets are being reshaped at an accelerated pace, and artificial intelligence, data technology and emerging industries have become important engines driving economic growth. The Cyberport Venture Capital Forum strives to build a bridge between innovation and capital. This year's forum event focused on new trends such as artificial intelligence, digital assets and “one-person companies”, discussed in depth emerging market opportunities and corporate strategies, analyzed how enterprises can drive large-scale growth with speed and resilience in a rapidly changing market environment, and promote the transformation of innovative achievements and cross-regional cooperation through investor-enterprise matchmaking activities.
According to Cyberport data, a total of 481 companies joined the Cyberport community in the past year, and the cumulative total financing of Cyberport community enterprises over the years has exceeded HK$74.5 billion. During the year, a total of 19 Cyberport companies were successfully listed, and 2 unicorn companies were welcomed. Cyberport companies that have recently completed high-volume financing include Finloop (Finloop), Premialab, Qupital (Qupital), and Buy&Ship. Many of these companies apply AI, blockchain and digital assets, which fully reflects the market's strong interest in AI and digital assets.
Furthermore, the “Cyberport Investment and Entrepreneurship Fund” (CMF) has also been investing in high-potential startups while improving their ability to attract capital. As of September 2026, CMF has invested in 30 start-ups, driving the total investment and co-investment of the fund to over HK$2.7 billion, with a capital attraction ratio of 1:9.3.
