02:14 AM EDT, 10/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Maisons du Monde (MDM.PA) appointed its Chairman John Browett as interim chief executive officer, succeeding François-Melchior de Polignac, who stepped down from the role on Monday. Browett will retain his position as chairman while serving as interim CEO until the French home furnishings retailer appoints a permanent successor, according to a same-day release. The company also named Marc Ténart as deputy CEO. Ténart previously served as CEO of Conforama and Lapeyre.
