On October 27, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Guo Jiakun presided over a regular press conference. Some reporters asked questions. We noticed that on October 26, “For Justice and Peace for Humanity” — a photo exhibition commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Tokyo trial was held at the UN headquarters. Diplomats from various countries, international organization officials, and people from all walks of life visited to watch. What comments did the Chinese side have? Guo Jiakun said that the Tokyo trial is of great historical and practical significance. This photo exhibition showcased a large number of historical images and archival documents of the Tokyo trial to truly restore to the international community the facts of Japan's military aggression against foreign countries and the serious war crimes it committed. The United Nations was founded on humankind's deep reflection on war. The holding of this exhibition at the United Nations is fully in line with the international community's common quest to remember history and cherish peace.
