06:56 AM EDT, 10/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Airbus (AIR.PA, AIR.F) secured a contract from the European Space Agency to build two more second-generation Galileo satellites, adding to an existing order for six satellites. The new satellites will include enhanced navigation antennas to boost the accuracy of the flagship European Global Navigation Satellite System and operate in orbit for 15 years, the aeronautics and space company said Tuesday.
