A developer will soon begin construction on a 1.35 million-square-foot speculative warehouse in Polk County. The Tampa Bay Business Journal reports that Tratt Properties will develop the warehouse as part of its 8.1 million-square-foot logistics park, Central Florida Integrated Logistics Park, in Winter Haven. Tratt Properties purchased the site for the warehouse in 2021 for $4.14 million. The project is expected to cost $40 million. Rail access is available within the Central Florida Integrated Logistics Park.

FCL Builders is leading the construction efforts.

Chick-fil-A will open a 244,000-square-foot distribution center, with the help of a $150 million investment from the state. The new center, which will open next year, will serve around 170 restaurants and create over 180 full-time jobs, Chick-fil-A representatives said.

Tratt also completed in 2024 as a spec project. Building 1 is a 1,217,534-square-foot Class A cross-dock logistics facility leased to PepsiCo (shown).
