12:38 PM EDT, 10/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Berenberg revised its price target and estimates for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG.L) after the British hospitality company logged a "clean" growth acceleration in revenue per available room in the third quarter. The price target was bumped up to $180 from $178, with an unchanged buy rating on the stock, according to a note published Tuesday. "IHG delivered a solid Q3 performance with RevPAR growth of 5.3% accelerating strongly on Q2. The Americas led this performance with RevPAR growth of 6.8% (Q2: 5.4%) although EMEAA saw a strong acceleration to +5% (Q2: 0.6%). Greater China worsened to -3.3% in Q3, but remains in growth year-to-date," analysts said. "While IHG stated that it was confident in achieving consensus expectations, the stronger RevPAR growth drives increases to our FY 2026 estimates." The research firm raised its sales and EPS forecasts for 2026 by 1.5% and 0.2%, respectively. Sales projections for 2027 and 2028 were also increased, while EPS estimates for both years were cut. "While our FY 2027 EPS estimates fall due to higher below-the-line interest costs, operational momentum remains solid with net unit growth (NUG) of 4.8% likely to be sustained into FY 2027, supporting delivery of the 12-15% growth algorithm. While the shares have risen 18% year-to-date, we think this is justified as IHG offers investors highly visible, quality growth, a cash-generative business model and strong shareholder returns," Berenberg added.
