12:47 AM EDT, 10/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Fortum (FORTUM.HE) completed annual outages at its Loviisa nuclear power plant in Finland, according to a Tuesday release. The process included fuel replacement, extensive maintenance, inspection, and modernization of low-pressure turbines. Both operating units resumed electricity generation after the work was completed. The Nordic energy company noted that 1,800 workers and partners were involved in the annual outages.
