02:50 AM EDT, 10/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Wallenius Wilhelmsen (WAWI.OL) placed an order for four new dual-fuel pure car and truck carriers, or PCTC, from Chinese shipbuilding company Jinling Shipyard (Jiangsu). The shipping and logistics group said Wednesday that the deal included options to purchase up to eight more PCTCs, which would bring the total capital expenditure to $1.5 billion. The order is part of the company's fleet renewal program. Delivery of the four PCTCs is scheduled for mid-2030. Subject to exercise of the options, four more will be delivered in 2031 and the last four in 2032.
