The Zhitong Finance App learned that the integrated fund platform under the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (00388) launched a platform and agent services, added general distribution, agent and administrative services, and further extended the platform's functions to the entire fund distribution process. Speaking at the launch ceremony, Group CEO Chen Yiting said that the Group has noticed that global investors are recently re-examining capital allocation, and that the new service can respond to the structural transformation of global capital continuing to flow into Asia. Chen Yiting believes that the new service means that the Group has taken another important step in improving fund distribution efficiency and reducing distribution costs.

She pointed out that diversified funds are an important part of Hong Kong's financial product ecosystem and are related to the wealth of thousands of households. She hopes that the Group's integrated fund platform can help various fund products enter thousands of households faster and more easily, and become an important infrastructure for Hong Kong's wealth management center. In the future, the Hong Kong Stock Exchange will continue to work closely with regulators and industry partners to continuously optimize integrated fund platform services and make due contributions to the construction of the Hong Kong Wealth Management Centre.

The Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, Mr Hui Ching-yu, said that as the world's largest cross-border wealth management center, the total assets under management in Hong Kong actually reached HK$42.2 trillion by the end of last year. In order to consolidate and enhance Hong Kong's competitiveness as an international asset and wealth management center, the Government has actively promoted the core policy of optimizing the preferential tax system in recent years. The relevant bill was submitted to the Legislative Council in June this year. He added that the integrated fund platform launched a fund database in December 2024 and launched an order delivery service in July of last year. He personally congratulated the platform for launching a new service today.

Xu Zhengyu believes that comprehensively promoting the development of fund distribution will help reduce operating frictions, improve market efficiency, and lower distribution thresholds for fund managers through more standardized channels. Looking ahead, the Government will continue to work closely with the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, the Securities Regulatory Commission and the industry to ensure that the platform brings real benefits to fund managers, distributors and investors.
