Anthony Scaramucci says Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) is "the joke of jokes," accusing her of echoing bank lobbying talking points while posing as a champion of the unbanked.
Scaramucci told The Block’s Starting Block podcast that Warren frames herself as a progressive populist defending ordinary Americans, yet her social media posts on crypto mirror talking points straight from the American Banking Association.
"She’s the champion of it," he said of her underbanked advocacy, "but then when she’s putting her social media screens out, it’s the talking points from the largest lobbying" group in banking.
Scaramucci said he worries a future administration change could reverse recent progress, pointing to SEC Chairman Paul Atkins’ codification efforts as the best defense against another crackdown resembling the Gary Gensler era.
Scaramucci said Bitcoin (CRYPTO: BTC) should already trade near $300,000 based on fundamentals, arguing capital rotation into AI stocks pulled money away from crypto this year.
He pointed to ongoing regulatory headwinds as a bigger obstacle for crypto than companies like Uber ever faced entering new markets.
Scaramucci also welcomed persistent bearish predictions from critics like Chamath Palihapitiya and Jason Calacanis, arguing that skepticism shakes out weak holders rather than signaling real danger. "That type of FUD floors Bitcoin," he said.
Scaramucci called Michael Saylor "one of the real revolutionaries" in crypto, crediting a 2020 meeting with Saylor for pushing him to make his own first major Bitcoin purchases.
He said Strategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) holds a genuine competitive advantage through its favorable net asset value position, which lets the company sustain its Bitcoin accumulation flywheel even through market downturns.
Moreover, Scaramucci disclosed he personally owns Strategy’s STRC (CRYPTO: STRC) preferred shares, calling the product safe and high-yielding.
He also said investors need a four-to-five-year holding period to benefit fully from Bitcoin treasury strategies, rather than expecting short-term returns.
Meanwhile, Scaramucci said 2027 should bring continued capital spending and further tokenization milestones, including potential partnerships between major exchanges and crypto platforms.
