11:07 AM EDT, 10/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The UK government plans to scrap import tariffs on more than 100 products, including baked beans and chocolate. Tariffs on kerosene and fertilizer will also be cut to ease costs for households and farmers, Chancellor of the Exchequer John Healey said Wednesday in his first budget statement.
