12:14 PM EDT, 10/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Airbus (AIR.PA, AIR.F) and Air France-KLM's (AF.PA) Air France unit set up a 50/50 joint venture dedicated to providing component support for the European planemaker's A350 fleet. Alpha Component Solutions will leverage Airbus' Flight Hours Services and Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance's capabilities to deliver aircraft component supplies, maintenance, supply chain management, and repair services for A350 customers worldwide, according to a Wednesday release. Airbus added that the joint venture already supports 500 aircraft and is poised to assist additional operators.
