01:18 PM EDT, 10/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Genmab's (GMAB.CO) petosemtamab, combined with pembrolizumab, showed positive topline results in patients with PD-L1-positive head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, a type of head and neck cancer. In the phase 3 LiGeR-HN1 trial, the petosemtamab combination cut the risk of death by 50% and improved objective response rates in patients regardless of the human papillomavirus status, compared with pembrolizumab alone, the Danish biotechnology company said Wednesday. The treatment was also well tolerated, with no new safety signals found.
