On October 29, Star Ring Energy announced that its self-developed 10 kA second-generation high-temperature superconducting current lead has completed rated parameter tests. In the test, after shorting the two current leads, it successfully passed multiple rounds of 10 kA flow assessment. The maximum withstand voltage can reach 10 kV, and various performance indicators meet the design requirements. As a key component of magnet development for the CTRFR-1 device, this test has verified the entire process of current leads from structural design, process exploration, system integration to low temperature testing. The low temperature and high current connectors and insulated terminals required for the test were also independently developed by Xinghuan Energy.
