12:41 AM EDT, 10/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Britain's total vehicle manufacturing grew 36.3% year over year to 74,031 units in September, data from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders showed Thursday. Car production increased 38.6% to 70,831 units during the month. For the nine months to September, total vehicle manufacturing declined 3% to 564,537 units.
