02:29 AM EDT, 10/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- ING Groep (INGA.AS) on Thursday launched an up to 1.9 billion-euro shareholder distribution program to maintain its common equity tier 1 ratio at 13%. The distribution covers a stock repurchase program of 1.65 billion euros and a cash payment of 250 million euros, the lender said the same day. The buyback program will run through April 26, 2027, and the cash payment will be paid on Jan. 14, 2027.
