The Zhitong Finance App learned that Yingen Bio-B (09606) rose more than 5% in the intraday period. As of press release, it had risen 4.32% to HK$111.1, with a turnover of HK$144 million.

According to the news, on the evening of October 28, Yingen Biotech announced that it had purchased a total of 794,200 shares on the announcement date, at a total cost of about HK$125 million. All repurchased shares are held as treasury shares. Based on continued confidence in the Group's future development prospects and recognition of the company's long-term investment value, in addition to the initial increase in holdings, the founder, chairman, executive director and CEO Zhu Zhongyuan plans to further increase his holdings by purchasing shares in the open market with his own capital. The total additional amount is not more than 5 million US dollars. The total amount of the initial increase and further increase in holdings is expected to not exceed 10 million US dollars.

According to a recent research report released by CMB International, the company's valuation is still mainly driven by the B7-H3 ADC asset Elfe-D. The bank indicates that Elfe-D is expected to become a major product, supported by emerging efficacy, differentiated safety, and potential first-mover advantage in ADC+IO 2.0. The latest ESMO update, along with last month's WCLC data, further strengthens this investment argument, showing that early efficacy in lung cancer and non-lung cancer solid tumors (including SCLC, PROC, HCC and CC) is encouraging, and tolerability is manageable.
