At the invitation of China's Ministry of National Defense, a delegation of young and middle-aged African military officers visited China from November 5 to 11. Nearly 50 military officers from more than 20 African countries visited places such as Changsha and Chengdu for exchanges. The theme of the event was “China-Africa Defense Science and Technology Innovation and Development”, and was specifically hosted by the National University of Defense Technology. This is the 5th time that China's Ministry of National Defense has organized related events to continue the traditional friendship between the Chinese and African military, deepen practical cooperation between the two sides, and contribute to the promotion of a common destiny between China and Africa around the clock in the new era.
