06:00 AM EDT, 10/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Rank Group (RNK.L) expects to incur additional costs for the 12 months ending June 30, 2027, from the increase in machine games duty in the UK. The British gambling company expects an additional annualized cost of 9 million pounds sterling, before any mitigating actions, for the fiscal year, according to a Thursday filing. Duty costs are expected to rise by 2 million pounds. The UK government raised the duty to 25% from 20%, effective April 1, 2027.
