IRVING, Texas (AP) — IRVING, Texas (AP) — Builders FirstSource Inc. (BLDR) on Thursday reported third-quarter earnings of $60.4 million.

The Irving, Texas-based company said it had net income of 56 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were $1.51 per share.

The results beat Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of seven analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of $1.12 per share.

The construction supply company posted revenue of $3.85 billion in the period, which also topped Street forecasts. Five analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $3.78 billion.

Builders FirstSource expects full-year revenue in the range of $14.2 billion to $14.6 billion.

Builders FirstSource shares have dropped 46% since the beginning of the year. The stock has decreased 53% in the last 12 months.
