08:10 AM EDT, 10/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- EnSilica (ENSI.L) signed a $2.4 million application-specific integrated circuit, or ASIC, development and supply contract with a US healthcare technology company, following an initial feasibility study. The British fabless semiconductor company will develop a wireless biosensing and therapeutic controller ASIC, according to a Thursday release. The project is expected to run for 18 months, with a framework covering the supply throughout the product's commercial lifetime. EnSilica also wrapped up the tape-out of an ASIC for a UK-listed life-sciences technology company under a separate $1.6 million contract. The design is now moving to fabrication at a foundry.
