08:19 AM EDT, 10/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Danske Bank (DANSKE.CO) is preparing to increase the performance-related bonuses for some of its employees, following an upgrade in its 2026 outlook, Bloomberg News reported Thursday. Chief Executive Officer Carsten Egeriis said in an interview with the news agency that the higher bonus reflects the Danish lender's growth across lending, deposits, asset management, and debt capital markets. Meanwhile, Egeriis added that the bank's significant investments in automation technology and artificial intelligence are expected to lower headcount over time.
