10:05 AM EDT, 10/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Clinical Laserthermia Systems (CLS-B.ST) and US medical technology company ClearPoint Neuro were named industry partners in a $3 million research program funded by the US National Cancer Institute The Swedish medical device company said Thursday that the five-year program, led by US academic health system Dartmouth Health, will study magnetic resonance-guided laser interstitial thermal therapy for patients whose cancer has spread to the spine. The research will move from laboratory and preclinical validation toward clinical tests using the ClearPoint Prism Neuro Laser Therapy System alongside CLS's neuro laser therapy technology and expertise.
