01:09 PM EDT, 10/29/2026 (MT Newswires) -- BofA Global Research raised its price objective for Airbus (AIR.PA, AIR.F, AIR.MC) to 263 euros from 258 euros, with the stock's buy rating maintained, following the European aircraft maker's third-quarter results. Airbus booked an adjusted EBIT of 1.77 billion euros in the quarter, "broadly in line" with consensus, while revenue stood at 17.5 billion euros, 2.5% lower than market forecasts, analysts wrote in a Thursday note. "Mgmt. is evaluating a potential A350 stretch and production beyond 12/month. Our supply demand model indicates the market could support production rates of 16-18 aircraft per month for both the A350 and 787. On the A350, we think a stretch is a matter of when, not if, to better position the A350 to capture a strong share of the A380/777 retirements in the 2030s," the research firm said. "We think this would provide strong EBIT growth at Airbus into the 2030s and this could become a focus into the 2027 airshow in Paris." Against this backdrop, BofA trimmed its 2026 and 2027 EPS forecasts to 7.33 euros and 8.32 euros, respectively, from 7.36 euros and 8.37 euros. For 2028, the projected EPS was lifted to 11.50 euros from 11.47 euros.
