WARREN, N.J. (AP) — WARREN, N.J. (AP) — PTC Therapeutics Inc. (PTCT) on Thursday reported a loss of $51.7 million in its third quarter.

The Warren, New Jersey-based company said it had a loss of 62 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for non-recurring costs and to extinguish debt, were 61 cents per share.

The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of four analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 17 cents per share.

The biopharmaceutical company posted revenue of $357.8 million in the period, also exceeding Street forecasts. Three analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $311.1 million.

PTC Therapeutics expects full-year revenue in the range of $1.29 billion to $1.32 billion.
