KUALA LUMPUR: CelcomDigi Bhd via its unit, CelcomDigi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (CDTel), has received the spectrum assignments for the 2600MHz and 900MHZ frequency bands under Lot B from the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC).

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, the telco said the 2600MHz frequency band, which is valid for four years from Nov 1, 2026, to Oct 31, 2030, will be subject to a spectrum assignment fee of RM366.75mil and an annual spectrum fee of RM42mil.

The 900MHz, meanwhile, has a validity period of five years from Nov 1, 2026, to Oct 31, 2031. It will incur a spectrum assignment fee of RM15mil as well as a spectrum fee of RM3,500 per apparatus per annum.
